“Forensic” is a crime mystery thriller film in Malayalam directed and given by Anas Khan and Akhil Paul. AjfarRehman wrote the story. It was a directorial debut for the directors. The film features stars like Tovino Thomas as Samuel John Kattookkaran, Mamta Mohandas as Rithika Xavier IPS, RenjiPanicker as retired SP Abdul Wahab IPS in the leading roles.
There were many other supporting roles played by actors like Reba Monica John as ShikhaDamodar forensic intern, Giju John as Dr. Alphonse Kurian, ThamannaPramod as NayanaNavya, DhaneshAnand as Ubaid Ahmed, and a few others. Plot

However, they are interconnected with each other. The movie starts with a small boy who collects some gruesome artifacts from his father’s butchery shop. The movie starts with brutality, and it opens up in the modern time where Rithika Xavier (Mamta Mohandas) is dealing with suspected serial killing.
Two girls have been murdered without any motive, and she seeks the help of a talented forensic team. However, she winds up with Samuel John Kattookkaran, played by Tovino Thomas, who is also the younger brother of her husband with whom she has separated. The separation was the loss of one of her children, and the surviving child, Nayana, has been taking treatments from Dr. Alphonse Kurian for her mental disorder.
During the investigation, Samuel and the forensic team find out that the serial killer could be a child. Thus, they suspect a juvenile home inmate named Rueben Elias of committing the murders because he is a murderous psychopath. While Samuel and Rithika try linking Rueben to this case, SP Abdul Wahab comes up with a new lead. He provides a DNA sampling that could link the present case with a case that was Rithika’s first case. Here, the viewers are taken to a flashback that displays three girls murdered in the Burma colony of Trivandrum. An innocent bus driver played by DhaneshAnand was suspected of the murders; however, upon the next murder, he was released, and the case was dropped for the absence of any new leads.
